What We Care About
[ Our Core Values ]
Our culture is all about equipping people to bring the hope of Jesus.
We aim to equip people to bring this hope through our three core values: love, service and laughter.

{ LOVE }
A diverse church community where everyone from child to senior loves Jesus contagiously and courageously.
{ SERVICE }
A family of imperfect believers launching into our community with purpose. We're not talking feel good, pat yourself on the back giving.
We're talking about coming alongside our community, meeting needs, listening and loving.
{ LAUGHTER }
A Christian community combating the epidemic of loneliness through laughter.
That's right! From sermons to coffee time, there's nothing better than connecting through a good belly laugh.
WHEN LIFE IS MESSY, WE
OK…so there’s one more value we couldn’t leave out because it means that no matter what’s going on or where people are at — we try to meet each person where you’re at.
Embrace the Mess means that we don’t run or avoid the mess of life or people who might seem stuck in a mess. Our messes are what qualify us for the incredible mercy and love of Jesus. Too many people have the wrong idea that we have to clean our lives up and get things in order before we can follow Jesus. The opposite is true. Our mess is why we need Jesus.
Our church represents an assortment of people in different stages and messes of life. Each person is an important part of our church and we try our best to just love each other.
We Care About Our Community!
We are thrilled to partner with HopeKids. HopeKids is a Christian non-profit serving families who have a child diagnosed with a life-threatening condition. They currently serve over 200 families in Colorado Springs (many living close to our church). Most of the families who move to Colorado to get better medical help don’t know anyone here. They are vulnerable & in need of support & connection. HopeKids is making a difference.
We offer a community meal for HopeKids, in addition to other events and projects — like our Reverse Trick-or-Treat for 10 HopeKids families in our community (see photo on our Visit page). As you can see by our faces, we enjoy living out the mission to show the love of Jesus to those in our community and world and HopeKids is doing just that.
We invite HopeKids families to our Sunday morning services as well as anyone who has a passion for serving with HopeKids to attend. Our HopeKids partnership is a big part of why we began Beyond the Walls Church and why we wanted to join congregations with Grace Mountain Church in the south part of town. It’s in our DNA.
If you’d like to get involved, please message us for more info.
